Menjong Foundation believes that long-term sustainability of our earth lies in protecting our environment and the Bhutanese constitution stipulates that at least 70% of land remains forested at all times. Tree planting is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for forestry, land reclamation, or landscaping purpose.Afforestation was carried out at School for Language and Cultural Studies, Thimphu during the Social Forestry Day on June 02 2015.The foundation provided Seven Hundred saplings, a two thousand liter water tank, fifteen watering cans, a truckload of forest manure and refreshment to three hundred fifty students including teachers. Chief Guest and the guest inaugurated the plantation.
